2005 15kw 1.0 engine. The engine spits and sputters. Found issue it was a bad connection where the wire goes through the flywheel shield to the coils. Local generac service guy said it needed new coils. WRONG. I paid $190.00 for that assessment. I was too busy to diagnose the problem my self until now. Just wanted to pass along a fix that may not be in the trouble shooting guide.

Yeah the young people are incredibly good bs'ers during their job interview, and there is a desire to hire the young because they are easy to screw on payday, because they have no self-respect.

Any technician that needs a "trouble shooting guide" to diagnose a problem needs to be terminated. Besides being there all day running pointless "tests", it usually will not result in a fix.
