Any advice much appreciated - I am replacing an older Generac generator with a new 16kw Generac generator - need to find out if the old transfer switch model number RTSN10083 work for the new generator (control wires in the old switch are N-1, N-2, 23, 0 - Control wires in the new generator are N-1, N-2, 23, T-1, 0, 194). Or do I need to replace the old transfer switch?

The old switch will work just fine. You'll need a battery charger wiring kit which will add a T1 power source in the transfer switch for the new generator and to run a 5th control wire for the T1 terminal. The new generator will also have a 0 wire spot on the terminal block which will just not get used. The charger kit can be found here: https://shop.gentekpower.com/products/g ... wiring-kit
