I have a Guardian RV Model 004700-0 Quietpact 40G installed in a Keystone NRG Toyhauler. The generator has new oil, carberator, filter and a new voltage regulator coming. I have replaced the converter and ATS in the trailer.
The generator will start and acheive operating RPM in meer seconds. All seems to be fine, then I try turning on the AC unit or the microwave and the generator will power down to a low idle and not power any device. I hope to have the new voltage regulator this next week and get it installed.
Question:
Does it sound like it needs a voltage regulator or is there another part that I may need like a PCB?

Can you post the serial number? If the voltage output is normal at normal RPM (frequency is normal), then I doubt it's a bad AVR. Normally if load is applied to any unit and there is a large drop in engine speed, it's fuel or air related.
