Anyone activate a Kohler lately
Anyone activate a Kohler lately, as in after august this year? There is supposed to be an activation code created like Generac that you need to enter. I’d like to know what happens if you haven’t entered it. I have one to look at tomorrow (brand new install) that has the locked rotor fault. The last ones I did were this summer before this started and didn’t need the code.

Have not come across one yet that needed the code. I think it is only the very latest models.
I went to look at a new install yesterday that kept giving locked rotor. I had them register it and it did produce a code at the end, but I didn't find a place to enter it. Easy fix, 14S not plugged in at the starter, so problem solved. I have another in Maine to start up in a couple of weeks.
