Nope. None. Hence why I’m so confused and pissed. Not even sure if they tested pressure or anything. I’m going to call them again. I might call someone else.

Something seems fishy there...

Do you know if there is a test port on the regulator inside the genset for me to check starting fuel pressure. I called another vendor today and he seems to believe that I might not have enough incoming fuel pressure while starting even thought the static pressure is within the range.

Also he recommended a block heater. Do you have a part number for said heater and know where I might get one?

A block heater will help if you get extreme cold weather, but not really in this situation. Not a horrible idea though.

I can look one up for you tomorrow.

There is a test port, you'll likely have to remove the pressure switch from it and test there. Some units have a tee in the line with a plug which you can also use.

On the regulator breakdown any idea where that port would be?
Part number is 0F6390K
Thanks.

The port has a fuel pressure switch installed in it. That should be your sign that's the right spot.

Did you find a part number for the cold weather kit for this engine.

I need to measure my pressure.but I was asking some questions to another generac dealer and he said that the new units start up with less pressure. Is it possible to uogeade this unit to new parts to allow for lower gas pressure for start ip

As far as I know, all of these units were rated at 5-14" of pressure on NG and 11-14" on LP. The block heater kit for the 2.4L units can be seen here: https://shop.gentekpower.com/products/g ... eather-kit

Again, I really don't think that's going to help a whole lot if you can't make it run normally...

Hey Chris. So I found the test port. Not running 11.7 in h2o. While trying to start. Doesn’t fluctuate much. Should that be hire?

That should be fine honestly. You sure the fuel solenoid is opening? Normally you'll see a little drop in pressure once they open.

I also recommend an analog gauge and not a digital one.
