Hello again.
I took the brushes out and cleaned them. I checked the resistance between the two slip rings and got 8.8 Ohms. I reinstalled the brushes and checked the resistance between the two wires going to the rotor and got 8.8 volts. I ran the system a few times and rechecked all numbers. Still, no voltage coming out and no voltage in the no. 4 wire. When I give no. 4 a boost from battery, I get full power 220 volts, and the Number 4 wire has 26 DC volts.

I think the booster kit will work for me, but I really would like to know why this is happening. Why can't the system work on its own.

Thanks
Chris

It sounds to me like the field boost circuit from the controller isn't working like it should. Do you have DC voltage on the 4 wire when cranking?

Thank You for your response. When it is running after I give it the manual two second boost from the battery, it generates the 220 Volts and the number 4 wire has 26 DC volts.
