Gen was run in a overloaded condition

Gen was run with to much load and shut down because of overheating.
I have pulled fuse and disconnected battery.
Gen starts good and runs fine.....for about 5-10 seconds, and shuts down again.
It does this without any load on it.
I'm wondering if there is a reset /fusable link somewhere on the generator.

The serial number you gave comes up as a pressure washer in Genservice.

That's an engine serial number, so somewhere on the machine there is another tag with the unit's serial number.
