Spark plug inspection

I purchased service agreement on a Generac standby on the house I bought. It includes services such as oil, change & filter, air filer, spark plug inspection, battery, etc. My question is how does one inspect the spark plug?

Normally I would think it just means to remove them and see if there is enough wear to justify replacement.
