My GE Model 040309 will not keep the battery recharged. Is there a way to troubleshoot so I don't have to immediately replace the $300 control board?

The schematic on these is bone simple.

240 volts AC on the normal input wires?

No battery charging coming out?

Replace the board. And they are cheap, more advanced controllers cost a lot more money.

The upside is they were cheap on the initial purchase.

The downside is what you are finding now.

Thanks for the reply Birken! I was hoping there was a way to troubleshoot and fix the board without having to buy a new one. $300 to replace a board for a 25cent resistor is just frustrating.
