I think it was manufactured in late 99 or early 2000 Cranks and runs fine but shuts down after about five seconds due to high cycles.
I can hold the stepper motor linkage to where it’s about 60 cycles and it keeps running. I checked the stepper motor and the ohms across all the wires were about 11.2 and I think that’s OK from one of your other posts. Any idea what else I should check. I know it’s made by Generac because on the end of the generating unit it says Generac. I will post some pictures when I figure out how.

Have you checked output voltage. If its not producing proper voltage the unit may run faster trying to increase voltage. Not familiar with this particular model though.

I did check voltage and it seem to be correct somewhere around 242 at 60 cycles

How do I go about checking to see if the controller for the stepper motor is good
