I get an oil pressure light indicator on my Generac powercore LV432. The dip stick reads oil (not quite full). What type of oil can I try to top it off? 4 stroke? Thanks

If it reads full or close to it, DO NOT keep adding oil! It's likely either a bad oil pressure switch or really an oil pressure problem.

Thanks, I think a tech already replaced the oil switch 6 months ago. I will check to see if it has 2 wires or one

You need to put a guage inplace of the sender unit to check pressures. Make sure the pump is working.
