.

You may have seen me on another site once or twice. That site went to a new platform and lost all of my posts and photos, that is history.

I bought my 17 KW Honeywell in 2014 and installed it myself with some help from my Gas Fitter Son. Here is the info on my generator.

Honeywell 17 KW model 62820 serial 9142***
. 200 Amp service rated ATS model OH 4557B serial 9106***
. SYNC 2.0 Controller
. firmware V1.11
. hardware V1.05
· Natural Gas with upgraded AC 630 meter
· Gas pipe 70' underground
· 1 1/4" pipe
. Installed October 2014
. De-rated to 13.2 KW account running on NG at 4,500' ASL.

I have modded and added a lot of stuff to it over the last 4 years. 50 watt block heater and 50 watt battery blanket controlled by a TC-2 cube and a 50 watt block heater controlled by a TC-1 cube. Both TC cubes feed to blue indicator lights on the outside of the enclosure. Oil temperature and pressure gauges and a indicator light on the control panel end of the enclosure. I did not like having a engine running on my property and not be able to monitor it.

Biggest beef with the Honeywell (Generac), 5 minute exercise. That might be OK in Florida but not here in Alberta. General needs to follow the sensible lead of other manufacturers.

The most scary phrase in the english language, "Hi I'm a Engineer and here to help."
