Solenoid Problem on Generac Generator.

I have an old (17 years) Generac Guardian Generator. Its worked great for many years. Lost power a week ago and no start. Checked oil, check battery, good. All annunciation lights were on. When selected to manual on lights were coming on (all) and there was a steady clicking noise. I think it may be the solenoid. No sure. Went to the schematic and it shows the solenoid coil in a place that is difficult to get to. Would any know of how to remove certain panels to get to the solenoid.

. Are you saying when you try to start it, theres just clicking sounds? If this is what you mean, you need to do a load test on battery. Take battery to auto store and have it load tested.. if it tests ok under load (which i bet it wont), youll need to check all cables from battery. Sone cables rot out under the plastic jackets. It could also be a bad starter.
