Transfer switch wont transfer when utility is power is lost.

At the time of the pics i was in the process of testing out wires etc. Making sure we had the correct voltages etc

Those little tabs arnt ment to be removed. Not sure if their removal effects the gripping of the terminals on the wires. But they may not, just not sure

If you need to probe voltages on wires, place probes into these small holes.

Unhooked 194 and 0 and 23 like u said, know im gettting 15v with nothing on the generator side connections. Weird im confused.

It seams like your losing voltage thru the wires, but i think you said you replaced the control wires? So im confused also.

Earlier another poster had a similar issue with their unit. When he put an actual 12v loaded test light on the terminal with the wires unhooked, the light wouldnt work. And suddenly the voltage dropped off. In his case, i think the controller got hit with possible lightning, but who knows.

If your absolutely sure the control wires are not damaged in the 95’ run, its possible that your controller is damaged.

I replaced 90 ft of #14thhn ...keep in mind 90 ×6 wires....im not worried about the wires ....im not getting 12v back to the ats module....its a fried controller...i did every test in the manual.

I ran 2 wires mimicking 194 and 23 exposed free Aired...and same result
