Thanks grsthegreat!! I should have known better. I am an amateur and this was DIY. But I pride myself in doing better than most electricians I have seen. Thats why I could never make a living doing it. There is a sticker on the cover that even says to take it out!! I was super tired the day I finish the install and this was the first outage since then. I agree that stick should be shorter and clear the front cover or it could be a T lever. So glad I found this forum and Chris has the parts!!
Very helpful!!

I take them and don't leave them for my installs  There's no good reason to ever use that handle by anyone other than a properly trained tech. Gets VERY dangerous if you don't know the proper procedures!

Hi Chris,

I got your parts very promptly...thank you. Today I took the switch apart. I thought the lower coil would come out easier but you cant get to that back screw even with a 90 degree screwdriver. So I discovered the control board would snap out and make more room. As I was doing that I discovered that the board had gotten hot too. Please let me know if you think I should replace this or if it might be okay? I have not brought the generator back online yet.

No, that transfer switch controller is wasted and was what opened to kill power to that lower coil from the looks of it

That controller module can be seen here: https://shop.gentekpower.com/products/g ... hed-module
